Joseph Stieglitz, Globalization and its Discontents: A bit repetitive but provides good reasons why developing countries should not borrow money from the IMF (or for that matter even the World Bank).

Richard Dawkings, The God Delusion: A reasonably good book but sort of misses the point that for some, religion is an axiomatic system. Once you are in the system you cannot question the axioms. It also takes a very monotheistic approach to God. For example, my God could be the laws of Physics, Mathematics, Biology etc. He argues about the laws derived from evolution. Thus for him Evolution is God!
